About
While commercial companies have rapidly embraced social media as a way to communicate with their customers, nonprofit organisations haven’t. Many nonprofits engage half-heartedly, stumbling along. Is it the technical challenge? Lack of staff? Ignorance of the social media scene? Fear of the unknown?
In “Blog Tips”, I share what I have learned myself since I discovered the power of social media three years ago. I write posts based on my own errors and victories in blogging as a hobby and in using social media in my nonprofit job. I write about questions asked by like-minded people I meet, and try to find solutions for challenges they face.
I hope to take away your stage fright and to eliminate the threshold of stepping into the exciting social media scene. I want to give you practical and down-to-earth tips to increase the visibility your organisation and your work deserves.
Peter.
